A Mommy Makeover: Happy as a Mother, Unhappy With My Body
Why a Mommy Makeover?
Hi all. I am a new mother with an infant son, and I have been thinking seriously about a mommy makeover through breast enhancement. I would love to say I can be a trooper about the post-breastfeeding sag, but honestly, I just can't. For me, breast enhancement feels like a good option.
Well-meaning friends tell me to see these changes as the badges of motherhood, and that breast enhancement is only for celebrities. I understand where they are coming from, but the reality is that people judge us on how we look, especially other women. As someone who was once considered quite the catch, I feel that breast enhancement could restore my confidence and quiet some of the cattiness I have run into lately.
Case in point: just the other day an old friend did a complete double take, barely recognizing me. She was polite, but I could tell from her expression that she thought I had let myself go. In my younger days I was a cheerleader with what felt like the perfect body and plenty of interested suitors, and enhancement never crossed my mind. I am sure it did her heart good to see how much things had changed.
Exploring My Breast Enhancement Options
I have never felt more ready for a mommy makeover in my life. Why do so many people assume that once we grow older or have children, we should care less about how we present ourselves to the world? My son is my heart and soul, but at the end of the day I am still a woman. If I am unhappy with my breasts, why shouldn't I look for a breast enhancement method I feel good about?
I am considering a mommy makeover for many reasons, but ultimately this is something I am doing for myself. I have thought about breast enhancement through implants, though I am not sure I want to go the surgery route. There have to be real alternatives to going under the knife, right?
If you have been wondering about breast enhancement too, follow along on my journey to find the best ways to make it happen. I am confident the options are out there, and I intend to find them.
